Abstract
The antiinflammatory effect of the Marobiven on the postoperative wound healing was studied in the department of the orthopedic sugery.
Sixty patients were involved in our study and divided into two groups, one was study and the other was control group. Marobiven was injected to 30 patients in the study group for 2 weeks and the effect of the Marobiven on the disappearence of pain, local redness and local swelling was checked and compaired with the control group.
1. Pain was disappeared about 7 days after operation in the study group and about 10 days in control group. Local redness was disappeared about 6 days after operation in the study group and about 9 days in control group. Local swelling was disappeared
about 7 days after operation in the study group and about 10 days in control group.
2. Mean of the sum of disappearence time of pain, local swelling and local redness was about 7 days in the study group and about 10 days in the control group. 3. Side effect was not detected in all cases.
4. So, Marobiven was safe and seemed to be effective in the healing of postoperative soft tissue swelling and redness and had analgesic effect.
